Photo Friday – Chess in Cartagena

Chess Statues in Cartagena

Today’s Photo Friday comes from Cartagena, which was one of my favourite cities in Colombia. Around the old town, the city’s Museum of Modern Art had installed statues which captured typical Cartagena life, including fruit sellers and rubbish men. My favourite were these two men enthralled in their game of chess, right outside the beautiful San Pedro Claver church.
